Dive Deeper (2023)
Limited edition art print produced by the artist using high quality pigment inks on archival fine art paper.
During summer holiday I visited the wonderful GUM (Gents Universitair Museum) with my wife and kids. In the museum shop I found this gorgeous brass divers helmet and shot a nice photo of it. Back at our vacation home I made this drawing using water soluble oil pastel and coloured pencil on watercolor paper. The drawing is symbolic for diving deeper into your self, getting to know yourself. Which, like deep diving, is quite adventurous.
